Maintenance and cleaning of air compressor coolers
After a long period of use, calcium, magnesium and other heavy carbonate substances in the water of the air compressor cooler will form scale in it, making the air compressor inlet and exhaust temperature rise, and the air cannot be cooled to the intended temperature, so it is very important to maintain the air compressor cooler.
Cooler maintenance
The cooler should be cleaned regularly according to the environmental conditions so that the compressor works at normal temperature and ensures a long service life. Generally, the outside of the air-cooled cooler should be cleaned every 1500 hours and the water side of the water-cooled cooler should be cleaned every 1500 hours. Regular cleaning of the cooler has the following benefits.
1 、To make the unit always work at the ideal working temperature (below 95 ℃), which is good for the performance and life of the machine.
2. The cleaning solution can be used to remove the dirt, otherwise, when the dirt is thick, the cleaning work is quite troublesome and the cooler needs to be dismantled to complete the cleaning work with the help of mechanical methods.
Cleaning steps on the cooling media side of the cooler
Air-cooled coolers
1 、Stop the machine and ensure the pressure has been released, and pull down the main switch.
2 、Open the air guide to clean the cover or remove the cooling fan.
3 、 Use compressed air to blow down the dirt, then take out the dirt from the air guide; if it is dirty, spray some degreasing agent and blow again. When the above methods cannot be used to clean, the cooler needs to be removed, soaked with cleaning fluid or sprayed and cleaned with the help of a brush (wire brush is strictly prohibited).
4, Install the cover or cooling fan.
Water-cooled coolers
1 、Stop the machine and ensure the pressure has been released, and pull down the main switch.
2 、Disconnect the cooling water inlet and outlet pipes.
3 、Inject the cleaning solution to soak or use the pump to circulate and flush (backflush is more effective).
4 、Flush with clean water.
5、Install the cooling water inlet and outlet pipes.
When the oil cooler is seriously scaled and the above methods are not ideal for cleaning, the oil cooler can be removed separately, open the two end caps and use special cleaning steel brushes or other tools to remove the scale. When cleaning the media side of the cooler cannot effectively reduce the temperature, the oil side needs to be cleaned as follows.
1 、Stop the machine and make sure the pressure has been released, and pull down the main power switch.
2 、Remove the oil inlet and outlet pipes.
3 、Inject the cleaning solution to soak or use the pump to circulate and flush (the backflushing effect is better).
4 、Flush with clean water.
5、Blow dry with dry air or use dehydrating oil to remove water.
